Vic: Worker claims compensation while winning woodchipping comp
The Victorian WorkCover Authority says a man who won first prize in a professional
wood chopping competition while receiving worker's compensation for back pain will spend
15 months in jail.
TERRENCE CALDWELL, of Casterton, pleaded guilty in the Hamilton County Court to eight
counts of deception after falsely claiming $142,000 in WorkCover compensation payments
between July, 1991 and March, 2000.
