SA: Teenager killed after being struck by car

ADELAIDE, April 1 AAP - A 13-year-old girl was killed when she was struck by a car in
Adelaide's north-west today, police said.

A police spokesman said the pedestrian, from Taperoo, was hit by the car on Victoria Road
in the suburb of Largs North about 1.10pm.

Her death takes the South Australian road toll to 38, compared to 54 for the same period
last year. She was the first person to die on the state's roads over the Easter holiday
period.
