Australian Democrats Senator NATASHA STOTT DESPOJA says the nation should be embarrassed
about treating Kosovar refugees as illegal immigrants.

The Senator says she is ashamed that the federal government has changed a safe haven
into a detention centre overnight.

Senator STOTT DESPOJA says the government has not given the Kosovars enough notice
that they have to go home.
